In this episode we finish our history of vegetarianism charting its progress through different countries and cultures. We commence our description of climate change and some of the devastating effects that it is already having on our planet. We describe how 20 per cent of greenhouse gases come from animal agriculture and how reducing meat consumption or going vegetarian can have very beneficial effects on the planet, both in terms of climate change and the preservation of wildlife.
